Can a Boy Wear a Skirt to School? If the skirt is an acceptable length, can a boy wear it? Can a girl attend her prom in a tuxedo? Fashion or dressing to articulate, or confound; gender identity, sexual orientation, school dress codes and blurring the lines. Oh and we’re not talking kilts.

So yeah, there’s that.

This is my first relationship in seven or eight years, my first long distance relationship, the first time I’ve used a social media tool to broadcast the change in my relationship status (which I feel kinda guilty about doing, especially since it reminded me how lonely I was when other people did it to me. I was NOT expecting the 43 comments and the 69 likes, which suggests that I may have played the tears of a clown card a little bit more than I think I do. But for that, I’m pretty humbled.)

I don’t want to jinx a good thing, so I’ll just leave it at this.

I usually hate Taiwanese pop music, because so much of it is Boy Bands from the Peoples Republic or numbingly slow love ballads. This I can get behind, mostly because it takes all of that bubble-gum cheeriness that Taiwanese people love so much and puts it behind a bassline.

Also, they’re touring the West Coast!
