Eleanor Rigby

Ernie: So when I listen to songs, I listen to the melody; I don't listen to the lyrics.
Laurie: Really? I'm the exact opposite. You wouldn't want to listen to Eleanor Rigby then. It's depressing.
Ernie: What are you talking about? That song is lovely; especially the part with the violins.
Laurie: Don't listen to the lyrics then.
Ernie: Huh? Really? That just makes me want to find the lyrics on Google.
Laurie: If you wish; you know that whole thing about not finding meaning in your life and eventually dying cold and alone? You know, what you've basically been having a small crisis over? That's what the song is about.
Ernie: Oh.
