So yeah, there’s that.

This is my first relationship in seven or eight years, my first long distance relationship, the first time I’ve used a social media tool to broadcast the change in my relationship status (which I feel kinda guilty about doing, especially since it reminded me how lonely I was when other people did it to me. I was NOT expecting the 43 comments and the 69 likes, which suggests that I may have played the tears of a clown card a little bit more than I think I do. But for that, I’m pretty humbled.)
